The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is an essential aspect of construction projects because every stage of construction work involves potential hazards that may lead to workplace accidents, project delays, and financial losses. Construction activities at Project School XY in Medan involve various work processes with different risk characteristics, making risk analysis necessary to determine appropriate control measures. This study aims to analyze occupational safety and health risks using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method at Project School XY in Medan. The study employed a descriptive approach by collecting data through field observations, documentation, and literature review. The analysis was conducted through hazard identification, risk assessment based on likelihood and severity values, followed by the determination of appropriate risk control measures according to the identified risk levels. The findings indicate that working at heights and electrical activities are classified as high-risk activities, while material handling, non-compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), dust exposure, and poor housekeeping are categorized as medium to low risks. These findings provide an overview of the risk level associated with each work activity and can serve as a reference for determining appropriate risk control strategies. The application of the HIRARC method helps prioritize risk control measures and supports more effective OSH implementation in construction projects.
