Tanah sangat penting dalam dunia pertanian, terkait fungsinya sebagai media dan pemenuhan unsur hara mineral untuk tanaman. Maka penting mengetahui kondisi tanah dan menjaga kesuburannya agar diperoleh hasil pertanian sesuai harapan. Salah satu cara mengetahui tingkat kesuburan adalah dengan memanfaatkan organisme tanah yang dijadikan sebagai bioindikator. Semakin banyak organisme tanah maka tanah tersebut dalam kondisi baik dan semakin sedikit organisme tanah maka tanah tersebut dalam kondisi kurang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman organisme tanah yang berfungsi sebagai bioindikator kesuburan tanah yang terdapat di lahan pertanian desa kawedusan kecamatan plosoklaten kabupaten kediri dengan metode survei. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan spesies sebanyak 8 dengan total inividu sebanyak 138. Dengan nilai indeks dari keanekaragaman jenis fauna sebesar 1,62. Untuk nilai dominasi didapatkan nilai sebesar 0,13.

Abstract

Land is very important in agriculture, related to its function as a medium and fulfillment of mineral nutrients for plants. So it is important to know the condition of the soil and maintain its fertility in order to obtain agricultural products as expected. One way to find out the level of fertility is to utilize soil organisms that are used as bio-indicators. The more soil organisms, the soil is in good condition and the fewer soil organisms, the soil is in poor condition. This study aims to determine the abundance and diversity of soil organisms that function as bioindicators of soil fertility found in the agricultural land of Kawedusan village, Plosoklaten sub-district, Kediri by survey method. From the results of the study found as many as 8 species with a total of 138 individuals. With an index value of the diversity of fauna species of 1.62. For the value of dominance obtained a value of 0.13.
