PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI INOVASI BUDIDAYA BUNGA TELANG (CLITORIA TERNATEA) BERBASIS GREENHOUSE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESEHATAN DAN NILAI EKONOMI MASYARAKAT

Bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea) merupakan tanaman herbal tropis yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai komoditas kesehatan dan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kranggan, Kecamatan Prajurit Kulon Kota Mojokerto , dengan tujuan memberdayakan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) melalui inovasi budidaya bunga telang berbasis greenhouse. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan praktis, pendampingan teknologi greenhouse, serta pengembangan produk olahan berbasis bunga telang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 78% dan keterampilan budidaya sebesar 72%. Kelompok mitra berhasil memproduksi teh telang, minuman fungsional, dan pewarna alami yang dipasarkan secara daring dan luring. Rata rata pendapatan tambahan anggota kelompok mencapai Rp 850.000 per bulan setelah program berlangsung selama dua bulan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi budidaya sederhana dengan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kesadaran kesehatan masyarakat secara signifikan.
Abstract
Butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea) is a tropical herbal plant with significant potential as a health and economic commodity for rural communities. This community service activity was carried out in Kranggan Village, Prajurit Kulon District, Mojokerto Regency, with the aim of empowering women farmer groups (KWT) through greenhouse based butterfly pea cultivation innovation. The methods used included counseling, practical training, greenhouse technology assistance, and development of processed products based on butterfly pea flowers. The results showed an increase in participant knowledge by 78% and cultivation skills by 72%. Partner groups successfully produced butterfly pea tea, functional beverages, and natural dyes marketed online and offline. The average additional income of group members reached IDR 850,000 per month after the two month program. This program proves that the integration of simple cultivation technology with local economic empowerment can significantly improve the welfare and health awareness of the community.
