PENYULUHAN HUKUM PEMBAGIAN WARIS DALAM PERSPEKTIF PLURALISME HUKUM BAGI MASYARAKAT DESA KEDUNGBANTENG, BLITAR

Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat desa terhadap sistem hukum waris di Indonesia yang bersifat pluralistik, baik berdasarkan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata maupun Kompilasi Hukum Islam, sering menimbulkan sengketa keluarga, ketidakadilan pembagian harta warisan, dan konflik berkepanjangan. Permasalahan tersebut juga terjadi di Desa Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Blitar, yang masyarakatnya masih terbatas dalam memahami konsep dasar hukum waris, persamaan dan perbedaan sistem waris, serta mekanisme pembagian waris yang sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran hukum masyarakat terkait pembagian waris yang adil dan sesuai hukum. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan hukum, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi tanya jawab dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 45 peserta yang terdiri dari perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, guru, dan warga Desa Kedungbanteng. Materi disampaikan secara sederhana dan aplikatif dengan contoh kasus konkret pembagian waris. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest serta observasi partisipasi peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat sebesar 75% terkait konsep hukum waris dan mekanisme pembagian warisan menurut KUHPerdata dan KHI. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan meningkatnya kesadaran untuk menyelesaikan pembagian waris secara musyawarah dan sesuai ketentuan hukum. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah preventif dalam meminimalkan sengketa waris serta memperkuat keharmonisan keluarga dan ketertiban sosial di masyarakat desa.
Abstract
The low level of understanding among village communities regarding Indonesia's pluralistic inheritance law system, both based on the Civil Code and the Compilation of Islamic Law, often leads to family disputes, unfair inheritance distribution, and prolonged conflict. This problem also occurs in Kedungbanteng Village, Blitar Regency, where the community still has limited understanding of the basic concepts of inheritance law, the similarities and differences between inheritance systems, and inheritance distribution mechanisms in accordance with legal provisions. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge and legal awareness regarding fair and legal inheritance distribution. The implementation method is carried out through legal counseling, interactive discussions, and question and answer sessions with a participatory approach. The activity was attended by 45 participants consisting of village officials, community leaders, teachers, and residents of Kedungbanteng Village. The material was presented in a simple and applicable manner with concrete examples of inheritance distribution cases. Evaluation was carried out through pretest, posttest, and participant observation during the activity. The results of the activity showed a 75% increase in community understanding regarding the concept of inheritance law and inheritance distribution mechanisms according to the Civil Code and the Compilation of Islamic Law. Furthermore, participants demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of resolving inheritance distribution through deliberation and in accordance with legal provisions. This activity is expected to serve as a preventative measure to minimize inheritance disputes and strengthen family harmony and social order in village communities.
